Latitude Energy Partners is an independent energy consulting and owner’s-representation firm helping organizations make smarter, data-driven energy decisions.
We work with commercial property owners, operators, and enterprises that want clarity—not sales pressure—when navigating electricity costs, utility complexity, and distributed energy solutions such as solar and battery storage. We also work with small businesses and residential customers who are looking for opportunities to save on electricity costs through rate optimization, interval data analysis, and solar and battery storage implementation.

Partner
Cesar Maeda earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University and brings years of experience in utilities and renewable energy technology. He has applied advanced analytical and forecasting methods to evaluate energy usage patterns, utility costs, and operational drivers, enabling more informed planning and optimization strategies. His career spans project management, cost estimating, and advanced microgrid modeling, giving him a well-rounded perspective on how energy systems perform from a technical, economic, and regulatory standpoint.
DeLaine Bacon
Partner
DeLaine Bacon brings over five decades of expertise in electric utility economics, regulation, and financial strategy. Her work has helped shape cost-effective energy solutions for utilities and their customers, with a focus on maximizing economic value. She has worked with leadership on rate case filings, justified the economics of major capital investments, and designed customer-centric rate structures. DeLaine is especially passionate about helping end users benefit from emerging technologies like solar and battery storage, crafting strategies that reduce costs and enhance energy resilience.
